How to do it
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding a barbell with an overhand grip in front of your thighs. Your hands should be shoulder-width apart.
- Lift the barbell in front of you with straight arms until it reaches shoulder height.
- Lower the barbell back to the starting position with control, keeping your arms straight. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Keep in mind
- Maintain a slight bend in your elbows to reduce strain on the joints.
- Lift with your shoulders rather than swinging your body to ensure proper muscle engagement.
- Keep your core tight to support your lower back and maintain proper posture.
